Our Programs
Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) - A home visitation program for first-time pregnant women that offers a free, personal nurse that gives support, advice and information to increase their success. Locations: Montgomery, Autauga, Elmore, Chambers, Chilton, Lee, Russell, Macon and Pike Counties
Requirements: Home visitation - First-time pregnant women who are less than 28 weeks; are eligible for programs like Medicaid, SNAP (Food Stamps) or WIC
Parents as Teachers (PAT) - A home visitation program for either first-time pregnant women or pregnant women with children that helps them develop effective parenting skills and encourages the emotional, social and physical well-being of baby and family. Locations: Montgomery, Pike, Crenshaw and Perry Counties
Requirements: Are eligible for programs like Medicaid, SNAP (Food Stamps) or WIC; Can be pregnant- either for the first time or a mother who is already parenting; Is a mother or caregiver of a child younger than 18 months (Montgomery); parent or caregiver of a child less than age three (Perry); or parent or caregiver of a child less than five (5) in Pike or Crenshaw counties.
Mobile Family Coaching (MFC) - An innovative program for pregnant women or women parenting a child under the age of one who prefer to receive support, prenatal and child developmental evidence-based education, and encouragement via text, phone calls, and other electronic forms as well as mailings, coupled with some home visits. Location: Montgomery County
Requirements: Are eligible for programs like Medicaid, SNAP (Food Stamps) or WIC; parenting a child less than 1 year old
Fathers in Action – An outreach program which seeks to improve the well-being of children through the promotion of responsible and involved fathers. Location: Montgomery County
Requirements: Gift of Life’s Fathers in Action initiative is offered to men who are connected to any mother or caregiver of a child enrolled in Gift of Life’s programs.
