MFC is a great option for busy or working moms and helps remove barriers to receiving services for those where home visitation is not an option. The program is staffed with family coaches with the capacity to serve up to 200 families. All mobile family coaches have received the required Parents as Teachers training and are certified as PAT Approved Curriculum Users.
The mobile family coaches serve pregnant women, mothers, and other caregivers until the client’s child reaches 18 months of age. They provide parents with child developmental knowledge and support, early detection of developmental delays and health issues, prevent child abuse and neglect, and increase children’s school readiness.
