Cheryl Davis, DHA
Executive Director

Dr. Cheryl Davis was named the Executive Director of the Gift of Life Foundation September 2016. She holds a bachelor's in medical laboratory technology from Alabama State University, a bachelor's in medical technology from Tuskegee University, a master's in biology from Alabama State; a master’s in health studies (health promotion) from the University of Alabama, and a doctorate in health administration from Central Michigan University.

Mona Davis
Assistant Director, Marketing and Community Outreach

Mona Davis coordinates marketing and community outreach for Gift of Life Foundation. She is responsible for media relations, developing marketing publications, video and digital content, coordinating special events and community outreach projects. She has a bachelor's in communication, and a master's in public administration with a concentration in non-profit management from Auburn University Montgomery. She has been with the Gift of Life since November 2016.

Paige Elliott, MSN, RN
Assistant Director, Compliance and Quality Improvement

Paige Elliott, MSN, RN, has been leading Gift of Life's quality improvement processes for almost two years. In that role, she directs GOL's data collection and analysis of quality improvement indicators. She also collaborates in performance improvement projects and participates in the design, generation and analysis of reports for data collection related to the Healthy Start grant, funding metrics and operational metrics to drive informed business decisions. She has 24 years of experience in the field of nursing and nursing administration and recently has completed extensive training in ChallengerSoft.

Amy Trammell, BSN, RN
Assistant Director, Nursing Programs

Amy provides leadership and direction for Gift of Life's nursing programs, specifically Nurse Family Partnership as well as activities directed toward the medical community. She has a bachelor of science in nursing and is a registered nurse certified in obstetrics. She has been with Gift of Life since March 2015.

Dr. Regina Traylor, MSN, DHSc,RN
Assistant Director, Family Programs

Dr. Regina Traylor is the Assistant Director for Family Programs. She received her bachelors of science in nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, a masters of science in nursing from Troy State University and a doctorate of health science from Nova South Eastern University. In her role at Gift of Life she provides leadership and direction for three family coaching programs, which offer traditional home visits and mobile technology based case management to expecting and parenting mothers and fathers.

Michelle Anthony, MSN, RN
Maternal-Child Outreach (Nurse-Family Partnership)

Michelle Anthony has a master of science in nursing with a focus on maternal/infant education. She is also a registered nurse with a background in labor and delivery. In her role as maternal-child outreach coordinator, she acts as a liaison between Gift of Life and local health providers. She has been with the Gift of Life since October 2016.

Jenni Bass, BSN, RN
Nurse Home Visitor/Certified Lactation Specialist (Nurse-Family Partnership)

Jenni Bass has a bachelor of science in nursing and is certified as a registered nurse and lactation specialist. She is a nurse home visitor with the Gift of Life's Nurse-Family Partnership Program and has been with Gift of Life since February 2011.

Lindsay Bass
Data Manager (Compliance and Quality Improvement)

Lindsey Bass is the data manager for Gift of Life. In her role, she is responsible for tracking program data, reporting outcomes, and ensuring the organization is compliant. She joined the staff in June 2017. She is a graduate of Auburn University where she majored in public administration with a concentration in non-profit management.

Family Coach (Mobile Family Coaching)

Mobile Family Coach Tina Berry is a licensed bachelor social worker. She received her degree in social work from Alabama State University. She has been with the Gift of Life since March 2017.

Catrice Chandler, LBSW
Group Coach (Centering Pregnancy)

Catrice Chandler received her bachelor of social work degree from the University of Montevallo. She is Gift of Life’s Group Coach at Centering Pregnancy and Centering Parenting at Baptist Medical Center South. She has been with the Gift of Life since June 2002.

Denise Coulter,BA Psy
Parent Educator

Gift of Life Parent Educator Denise Coulter attended South University and graduated with a bachelor of arts in psychology. Before coming to GOL, she worked in Early Intervention and at Family Guidance Center of Alabama’s First Teachers Program.

Kristi Gay, BSN, RN
Nurse Home Visitor (Nurse-Family Partnership)

Registered Nurse Kristi Gay has been employed with the Gift of Life Foundation for four years. She is a nurse home visitor with the Gift of Life's Nurse-Family Partnership Program. She has a bachelor of science in nursing.

Melissa Houghton is a certified registered nurse in low risk neonatal nursing and holds a master’s in maternal child nursing. She is a nurse home visitor with the Gift of Life's Nurse-Family Partnership Program. Melissa has been with the Gift of Life since September 2016.

Decatur, Georgia native Ratara Johnson is a recent graduate of Miles College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in social work. She is currently pursing a master’s in social work at Alabama State University. Ratara is employed as a Parent Educator with Gift of Life’s Parents as Teachers Program.

Mobile Family Coach (Mobile Family Coaching)

Mobile Family Coach Kathy Lightsey has been with Gift of Life since November 1997. During her time at GOL she has helped shape GOL’s community outreach efforts, mentor social workers and provide case management for program participants. She received her bachelor’s in social work from the University of Montevallo.

Registered Nurse Lori Rogers has been with Gift of Life since July 2014. She has a bachelor of science degree in nursing and works as a nurse home visitor for GOL’s Nurse-Family Partnership program. She has been with the Gift of Life since July 2014.

Parent Educator (Parents as Teachers)

Rickyna Smith is employed as a parent educator with Gift of Life’s Parents as Teachers Program. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees social work degree from Alabama State University. In addition, she has extensive experience teaching expecting or parenting moms about the benefits of breastfeeding and how to overcome breastfeeding challenges. She has been with Gift of Life since September 2018.

Carrie Wadsworth
Executive Assistant

Carrie Wadsworth is the Gift of Life’s Executive Assistant. In her role, she serves at the first line of communication with the community and the Gift of Life, and provides administrative support to the Gift of Life board, leadership and staff. She has been with Gift of Life since May 2008.

Jessie Yates
Fatherhood Family Coach (Fathers in Action Program)

Jessie Yates is employed as Gift of Life’s Fatherhood Family Coach. In this role, he equips fathers with the parenting skills they need to stay connected and make contributions in the lives of their child. He received his master's in marriage and family counseling from Liberty University. He has been with the Gift of Life since March 2017.
